Ingredients:
- 1½ oz (45 ml) Mezcal El Disfraz “Los Tiliches”
- 1 oz (30 ml) pomegranate juice
- ¾ oz (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
- ½ oz (15 ml) agave syrup
- Salt for rimming the glass
- Ice
- Pomegranate seeds and a lime slice for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
- Rim the glass: Rub a lime slice along the rim of an old-fashioned glass, then dip it in salt to coat. Fill the glass with ice.
- Mix the ingredients: In a shaker, combine the mezcal, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass with ice.
- Garnish: If desired, add a few pomegranate seeds and a lime slice for decoration.
